Its been another busy month at Wordsworth house. We had a lovely lunch to celebrate the Chinese new year, including sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls and of course fortune cookies! This gave our residents the chance to experience new foods and traditions.
Di Castle a local poet visited, engaging our residents with poetry readings from her book.
Our make it, bake it,eat it session was a great hit. The residents made their own pizza’s and cookies. They had their pizza for supper, very tasty.
Our pamper day theme this month was fruit, and fresh fruit smoothies.
We also had our usual scrabble competitions, pamper and polish sessions, a gentleman’s lunch and a visit from Rev Andy Roberts. Jose brought in her fabulous dolls house for everyone to look at and enjoy.
We are looking forward to March, Mothers day, an Easter service with Rev Roberts, Easter themed crafts and of course chocolate!
Until next month, take care from all at Wordsworth house.
