Kellie has worked in the care setting since the age of 16yrs. She trained as a Registered General Nurse in 2006, developing knowledge and experience in many different areas such as endoscopy, oncology, Digestive diseases and theatres, but always returned to the elderly care sector.
Kellie has recently passed her registered manager interview with CQC.
Currently undertaking NVQ 5 in Leadership and Management.
Jean has worked in the care setting for the past 34yrs, starting her career actually at Wordsworth House when it first opened in 1982, went to another home in Swanage and returned to Wordsworth House in 2009 as a Team Leader and then care manager in April 2014.
During Jeans career she has developed essential skills and knowledge about elderly care specifically, Dementia care. Jean has completed both NVQ 2 and 3 and recently attended courses regarding the new fundamental standards in line with The Care Quality commissions regulations.
Jean is dedicated to delivering high standards of care for our residents.
Recently promoted from ‘Team Leader’ to ‘Senior Team Leader’, Erin plays a vital role within Wordsworth House.
Her key responsibilities involve managing the care staff and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. This includes our residents care plans as these are an essential factor in helping us to provide the highest standard of care possible to our residents.
Erin has completed her NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health & Social Care and is currently undertaking a diploma qualification in Team Leading & Management Skills and is dedicated to training and continuously enhancing her skills in order to achieve within her career and job role.
Sam has a number of years’ experience within administration including previously working in a care
environment helping her to gain valuable knowledge required for working in our specific setting.
Sam is responsible for the finance role as well as many other tasks relating to administration within Wordsworth House, and would be your first point of call via telephone or to be greeted when visiting as she is based in reception.
